Our Statement of Faith
At The Viral Church, we believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
Content & Ministry Disclaimer
The Viral Church is a Christian social media and discipleship platform created to help people discover Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and connect with churches, ministries, and believers around the world.
Our platform features content created by independent churches, ministries, organizations, Christian creators, and individual believers. While we strive to cultivate a Christ-centered environment and require all users to adhere to our Community Standards, the views, opinions, teachings, interpretations, testimonies, and theological positions expressed by individual content creators are their own and do not necessarily reflect the official beliefs, doctrine, or positions of The Viral Church.
We encourage every member of our community to follow the biblical instruction to prayerfully examine all teaching in light of God’s Word.
As the Scriptures declare:
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God…
— 1 John 4:1 (KJV)
Like the Bereans, we encourage you to search the Scriptures daily to confirm what you hear and learn.
“They received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
— Acts 17:11 (KJV)
We encourage every visitor to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, pray for wisdom, understanding, discernment, and revelation, and remain actively connected to a Bible-believing local church where they can grow in fellowship, accountability, and sound biblical teaching.
The Viral Church exists to strengthen the Body of Christ—not to replace the local church or the personal responsibility every believer has to study God’s Word, seek His guidance, and test every teaching according to Scripture.
Our prayer is that every person who visits The Viral Church will grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, be led by the Holy Spirit into all truth, and discover their God-given purpose within the Body of Christ.
We Believe in One True God
We believe there is one eternal God, revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, who is worthy of all worship, honor, and glory.
He is the Creator of heaven and earth, holy, righteous, all-powerful, all-knowing, and everlasting.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We Believe in Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God.
He was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed mighty miracles, preached the Kingdom of God, died upon the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He alone is the Savior of the world.
(John 1:1–14; Matthew 1:18–25; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11)
We Believe in Salvation
We believe that every person has sinned and is separated from God.
Salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not by works—and is available to all who repent of their sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through His blood we receive forgiveness, redemption, and new life.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23; Romans 10:9–13; Acts 3:19)
We Believe in the New Birth
We believe every believer must be born again through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.
The new birth produces a transformed life marked by obedience to Christ and continual spiritual growth.
(John 3:3–7; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
We Believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost
We believe the baptism in the Holy Ghost is a promise for believers and is a distinct empowering experience following salvation for bold witness, holy living, and ministry.
We believe the initial physical evidence of this baptism is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; Acts 10:44–46; Acts 19:1–6)
We Believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit remain active today for the edification of the Church.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Wisdom
- Knowledge
- Faith
- Gifts of healing
- Working of miracles
- Prophecy
- Discerning of spirits
- Divers kinds of tongues
- Interpretation of tongues
We believe these gifts should operate according to biblical order and under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
(1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12; Ephesians 4)
We Believe in Divine Healing
We believe Jesus Christ is our Healer.
Through His atoning work and by the power of the Holy Spirit, God continues to heal physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually according to His will.
We believe in praying for the sick with faith, following the example and teaching of Scripture.
(Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14–16; Mark 16:17–18)
We Believe in Deliverance
We believe Jesus Christ has authority over Satan and every power of darkness.
Through His finished work on the cross, believers have victory over sin and the powers of the enemy.
We believe in the ministry of deliverance as demonstrated throughout the New Testament, always exercised with biblical wisdom, compassion, and under the authority of Jesus Christ.
(Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19; Colossians 2:15)
We Believe in Water Baptism
We believe believers should publicly confess their faith through water baptism in obedience to the command of Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:38)
We Believe in Holy Communion
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a sacred remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice until He returns.
(1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
We Believe in Holy Living
We believe every follower of Christ is called to pursue holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our lives should reflect Christ in our speech, conduct, relationships, integrity, purity, compassion, humility, and love.
(Romans 12:1–2; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15–16)
We Believe in the Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ.
The local church is God’s primary instrument for worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and service.
The Viral Church exists to strengthen—not replace—the local church by extending its reach through digital ministry.
(Ephesians 4:11–16; Acts 2:42–47)
We Believe in Evangelism and the Great Commission
We believe every believer has been commissioned to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations.
We are called to proclaim Jesus Christ through our words, our lives, our gifts, and every available means—including digital technology.
(Matthew 28:18–20; Mark 16:15)
We Believe in the Return of Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return.
We eagerly await His coming and seek to live faithfully until that glorious day.
(John 14:1–3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)
We Believe in the Resurrection and Eternal Judgment
We believe there will be a bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Those who have trusted in Jesus Christ will inherit eternal life with God.
Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from Him.
(John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15)
We Believe in the New Heaven and New Earth
We believe God will establish a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells, and His redeemed people will live with Him forever.
(Revelation 21–22)
Our Commitment
The Viral Church is committed to proclaiming the full Gospel of Jesus Christ with truth, love, humility, and the power of the Holy Ghost.
We welcome seekers, new believers, returning prodigals, and mature disciples alike.
Our desire is to help every person know Christ, grow in Christ, discover their Kingdom family, serve with their God-given gifts, and fulfill the Great Commission until Jesus returns.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” — Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
